As our Event & Commercialisation Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our expanding events programme. Your mission will be to build on our already vibrant calendar of public and business-facing events, introducing fresh, exciting events and promotions that showcase Reading at its best.

Reading Business Improvement District (Reading BID) is a small but mighty team dedicated to transforming Reading into a vibrant, thriving destination to visit, live, work, and do business. Part of Reading’s Economy & Destination Agency (REDA), Reading BID is fully funded by local businesses, enhancing the town centre experience with services that encourage people to visit, work, shop and do business in the heart of Reading.
From our annual Christmas light display and buzzing weekly food markets, to seasonal cultural events, well-being initiatives, and security services to support our retailers, hospitality sector and technology driven office-based businesses – the extra services we provide as a BID bring something extra to the town.
