Reading Film Services: Connecting Local Talent with Opportunities

At the Reading Economy & Destination Agency (REDA), we are developing Reading Film Services to support the growth of our local film industry. With the opening of Shinfield Studios, Reading is becoming a hotspot for film productions and our aim is to ensure that local talent and businesses benefit from these exciting opportunities.

Film Professionals Directory 

We are in the process of creating a directory of local film professionals and services to:

• Support local talent by connecting filmmakers, crew, creatives, tradespeople, and businesses with incoming productions.
• Boost local businesses by linking them with film productions in need of services such as accommodation, transport, and catering.
• Simplify the production process, making Reading a go-to destination for film companies.

To network with local film professionals and businesses, attend our Lights! Cameras! Business! networking event for the film industry. The next one is scheduled for 20th November 2024.
