REDA announce new Economic Development Manager

REDA is delighted to announce that Mark Pearson has joined the REDA team as Economic Development Manager following the retirement of Sue Brackley before Christmas.
Mark has extensive experience of business development, inward investment, strategy and policy development and delivery. He has previously held economic development and enterprise development roles at Royal Holloway University of London, Surrey County Council, Enterprise M3 LEP as well as sub-regional economic partnerships in Surrey, East Sussex and Lancashire. He has also run B2B marketing, consultancy companies, and even a coffee company and his personal passion is photography.
Nigel Horton-Baker , Chief Executive said: "Mark will be a great asset to Team REDA, bringing expertise across all areas of economic development, knowledge transfer and innovation. In the first instance, Mark will concentrate on launching our Reading Inward Investment portal and marketing plan, building key business contacts and networks, supporting local people into self-employment and jobs and updating the Reading Economic Development Plan in the context of working across wider geographical areas."
