Towards a green jobs and skills roadmap for Reading
In March 2023, REDA published Towards a green jobs and skills roadmap for Reading, a report which identifies the interventions in the economy locally that could generate a potential 20,000 green jobs in Reading by 2050.
Reading Town Centre Strategy - from Local Plan to 2050 Vision
Developed in 2021 the Strategy will set out a plan to repurpose and make the town centre more resilient in the face of more people living in the town centre and society continually moving to o more on line shopping. The aim is to make the town centre more ‘liveable. Community green spaces, nett zero cabin infrastructure will be important and more space will be given over to leisure and cultural activities. Due to be published in 2022.

Developed in response to the pandemic, the strategy it picks up the theme of Reading as a smart and sustainable place. Download the Strategy.
Reading Cultural Strategy 2015-2030
The strategy was produced by Reading’s Cultural Partnership. The Cultural Partnership was established s a strategic delivery network with stakeholders from across sectors to support the delivery of the Culture and Heritage Strategy for Reading.
