Jade and Matt have relocated to Reading to work for Occuity, a leading MedTech company recently named “Tech-Start Up of the Year” at the Thames Valley Business Awards. Headquartered at The Blade, both Jade and Matt enjoy a healthy work-life balance. Living near to work means they can focus on developing their careers in engineering in Reading’s booming health care sector, whilst also being able to enjoy all that Reading as to offer.
Occuity have developed patented optical technologies able to detect and analyse markers in the eye for diseases such as Diabetes and Alzheimer’s Disease and are applying them to create a range of handheld non-invasive screening and monitoring devices that could radically change the way that these major health issues are detected and treated.
