Trails

Throughout the year Reading BID run multiple themed trails, which are free for families to enjoy. These engage locals, visitors and families, taking place over the school holidays during Easter, Summer and the October half term.  

For our summer trail, we work in partnership with Broad Street Mall and The Oracle to bring large, fantastically crafted brick figures across the town centre. Over the past few years, fantasy creatures and dinosaurs have been let lose, escaping their natural habitats to reside in Reading shop windows for the summer. These free and exciting trails drive footfall into and all around the town centre, encouraging people to visit businesses they may not normally go to.
