Summer Bunting Display

During the spring and summer months, Reading BID designed and installed vibrant bunting flags across the town centre, celebrating Reading’s rich history and iconic landmarks. Each flag pays homage to key symbols of the town’s identity, including Huntley & Palmers, The Blade, and Forbury Gardens’ Maiwand Lion, reflecting the heritage, culture, and values that make Reading unique. 

These eye-catching decorations not only brighten the town’s streets but also create a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere for residents, visitors, and businesses alike. By filling the town centre with colour and character, the BID is helping to make Reading a more engaging and enjoyable place to shop, socialise, and explore throughout the sunnier seasons.
