Contactless Donation Scheme

Working with Reading Borough Council, we have launched an alternative donation scheme across Reading – Tap for Reading. By giving through tap points around Reading, those wishing to help prevent homelessness can donate their money straight to our charity partners - St Mungo’s, Launchpad, YMCA and Salvation Army. We are providing an alternative, more effective way for rough sleepers to get the support they need. 

The reasons for homelessness are complex, with trauma, addiction and relationship breakdowns usually contributing to why someone is rough sleeping. Access to specialist support to address these reasons is the best way to help someone move away from rough sleeping. Through this initiative, staff and people who want to donate to charity can be confident that their money is helping to make a real difference.
