Charity Support

Throughout the year Reading BID support many charity events/collections. These have included; Winter Warmer with Community Rail Partnership, Children’s Holiday Club collections with Brighter Futures for Children, and Launchpad Pancake Race. These encourage businesses to get involved in all sorts of ways, whether it be providing donations, volunteering their time or taking part in fun charity events. 

It is fantastic to see staff working together from across the town centre to improve the lives of those living in Reading. We have had lots of fun and seen tremendous success from these events: The Pancake Race saw people dressed up as clowns, bananas, the spice girls, crows, barristers and in morph suits, raising over £9,000 to help prevent homelessness in Reading.
