Businesses across all sectors within the Reading BID area are encouraged to participate in the innovative and eco-friendly cardboard recycling scheme. This initiative not only benefits the environment but also provides tangible advantages for local businesses. On average, the scheme collects an impressive 1.1 tonnes of cardboard every week, diverting significant amounts of waste from landfills and contributing to a cleaner, greener Reading.
The scheme eliminates the need for businesses to arrange their own waste disposal services, making day-to-day operations simpler and more cost-effective, freeing up valuable resources for businesses to focus on their core activities.
Regular collections help prevent the buildup of cardboard waste, ensuring that streets and business premises remain tidy and welcoming to customers and visitors.
