Our SIA accredited Business Wardens support Reading businesses when dealing with issues such as shoplifting, responding quickly to calls. The wardens are on duty 7-days a week and are contactable via the Town Safe Radio or their mobile phones. They work closely with our local Thames Valley Police colleagues in tackling anti-social behaviour. They assist visitors with wayfinding and also provide frontline response to a wide range of incidents, including first aid support.
Having worked in previous security roles in the town centre, they have good knowledge of the area and those who cause recurring issues for businesses in the town. They help to identify offenders and add effective information to crime reports.
