Alexa manages Reading’s two Business Improvement Districts (Reading Central BID and the Abbey Quarter BID). The BID is a membership organisation which funds and delivers a safer, cleaner and more attractive town centre. Coupled with regular exciting events and marketing initiatives, the BID aims to attract more people and business into the town centre, driving footfall spend in our retail and hospitality businesses and providing a nice environment for workers to relax and spend leisure time.
Alexa co-ordinates the liaison with our numerous retailers, businesses and organisations in our two Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) to deliver the 2019-24 Business Improvement District plans. Alexa manages the two BID Committees, as well as working with partners to implement a range of initiatives which make Reading's town centre a great place to visit, live, work and do business.
Alexa is an Associate of the Institute of Place Managment.
