Christmas shopping in Reading | store opening hours

Reading is the shopping capital of the Thames Valley, boasting three shopping centres, a jam-packed highstreet and loads of local independents selling unique gifts. And with 800,000 sparkling Christmas lights, a huge central Christmas tree, town centre events and live music providing the most festive backdrop -  why would you do your Christmas shopping anywhere else?   

Throughout the season, many of Reading's major retailers extend their opening times and offer late night shopping experiences to make those last-minute dashes as easy as scoffing that last mince pie. We've pulled together some of Reading's major stores' opening times this Christmas season, including John Lewis, M&S, The Oracle Shopping Centre and Broad Street Mall.*
