Visit Reading is owned and managed by Reading's Economy & Destination Agency (REDA), the economic development and promotional marketing company for the town. A small but mighty team, we are responsible for promoting the town and ultimately working to raise the profile of Reading, locally, nationally and internationally.
Our mission is simple: we exist to boost business and enhance visitor experiences in a way that improves the quality of life of all in the Reading region. A public-private partnership organisation, we work with the local authority and businesses within the Reading region to create opportunities and drive growth, making Reading an attractive place to visit, live and do business.
REDA's team covers all aspects of economic development, from inward investment, external promotion and tourism, to local business support and employment skills. We also manage Reading’s two Business Improvement Districts, which work to make Reading town centre clean, safe and welcoming throughout the year. Our Board of non-executive directors is made up of key players in Reading businesses and the public sector. Our Board members have a stake in the real estate, market and labour force of Reading, bringing a vision for Reading’s future growth and a desire to champion its ongoing success.
