Festivals

On top of its ongoing events programme, Reading is home to a wonderfully diverse and eclectic mix of festivals. The biggest and most renowned is, of course, Reading Festival, the world’s oldest rock festival (and third-largest UK festival) which draws in over 100,000 visitors to Reading every August bank holiday (21-15 August 2024).  

Perhaps slightly more modest in scale, but certainly no less important to Reading’s growing arts and culture scene, is the exciting programme of community-led events and festivals which run across the year - take a look at some of our favourites below and add them to your diary!
