You are here: Things to Do > Parks & Gardens > Thames Valley Park
Thames Valley Park is a 15 minute walk east of the town centre along the tow path of the Thames or the Kennet. Managed by the nearby business park, the park is on the river bank and is popular with picnickers, paddle boarders and runners.
The park is home to Wokingham Waterside Centre - so there are always kayaks on the river at that point. One of Reading's 3 Park Runs uses the park on Saturday mornings and sunny days sees much of East Reading come down to the river to paddle or enjoy the views.
Walk on through the park along the river bank to Sonning.
