By the river
The Crowne Plaza Reading (pictured above) is located on the south bank of the River Thames by Caversham Bridge. Book a room with a river view, stroll the Thames or just sit in the courtyard garden and enjoy the rays bouncing off the water. The hotel is walking distance to town centre & train station and you can just hop on a boat or walk along the river to great food accompanied by live music. Malmaison Reading is excellently placed as a base to set off on the St James’ Way pilgrimage route.
