About

I set up Terry's Reading Walkabouts (guided walks) to be non-profiting with the following aims/objectives - to get myself fitter in a proactive way; to pass on my love of local history, culture, famous people, myths, battles, gardens, architecture, gardens, buildings, events and so much more in a fun way;  I have lived in Reading all my life (my parents before me) and feel that so many people now living or travelling to Reading do not know about or fully appreciate its history, facilities and opportunities; I’m a people person and greatly enjoy meeting and helping people and I cannot think of a better way of doing this then hosting Terry's Reading Walkabouts; to raise monies for charities, most of whom are local.
